Everyone makes me sad but you
every time I’m feeling glad it’s you
so why did you leave me what did I do
how did I let you color me blue?

The times that you touched me and made me laugh
the times that you got me and made me smile
that’s how I believed I could fall in love.

You left me with this when you left me
a gift I could not refuse
you left me with a crooked smile and half a heart
that’s how I believed I could fall.
