We like alcohol we like tobacco
we like fire in our arms
we like a wide stance
feet firmly planted on home ground
a foundation a redoubt
from here we run the machines
keep a tight grip hold firm opinions
have bedrock faith
we are true believers
we always salute the flag
we are always fully cocked
we follow the plan make moves
we stay agile in war and in love
make sure we are dug in
sheltered from the bombs
home and hearth above all
the carbon dust and half-life are worth it.
