purposely provocative
blatant and blasphemous
waiting for lightening to strike
every subsequent breath affirms my rebellion
i am lucifer i am judas i am the joker
i swim against the tide
i flaunt convention
i embrace anarchy
purely for the sake of analytical discovery
call it the science of faith the method of my righteous cause
the scarlet cardinal pounces on its prey
which does not rise again
jesus too was devoured by this world
we the consumed salute him
even as we keep the faith in other ways
